MICE• The Government selected Tour Industry as a major
industry with high growth potential in 21st century

The terminology of MICE was used in South East Asia including in Hong Kong,
Singapore, etc. in late 1990’s. Then it is being widely used in South Korea after the year 2000

MICE is an abbreviation of Meeting, Incentive Travel, Convention, and Exhibition, and is an industry
with high value-added business that can not only enhance the national brand
but also have significant effect on economy by creating more jobs.
