Daejeon O-World is the largest theme park in the southern region of South Korea in the setting of 682,830㎡ land, surrounded by beautiful landscape. It is a complex of ‘Ju Land + Flower Land and Joy Land’, where every family member can enjoy. 

After Daejeon World Expo in 1993, its facility was transformed into a science park to utilize it as an educational facility. It has facilities like simulation theatre with moving seats, 3D theater, electric energy hall, etc.

Hanbit Pagoda is the symbol of Expo Science Park, where you can view the whole Daejeon city from. The first observatory is designed as a ring-type circle that reminds of space station. This science park is becoming children’s favorite place to visit.

Also, there are 5,000 mementos in recently open Daejeon Expo Hall and World Expo Memento Museum including Queen Victoria’s scarf with flags of all nations.

It is inside of Jangdong Mountain Forest Park, right next to Gyejok Mountain 100-li tracking course. Along Yimdo, a natural 14.5km red clay tracking course is open to the public from spring to fall. In May of every year, it holds ‘Masai Marathon'

This area was the center of commerce, tradition and administration of central Korea from 1960’s to 1980’s. This area is becoming a cultural focal point. There are about 150 cultural and art businesses including performance/art center, art gallery, mounter, studio, pottery shop, antique shop, etc. Also, it is a home to various festivals including Uneungjeongi Festival, Youth Mime Festival, Culture & Art Street Festival, etc.

Also, newly opened SKY in 2013 includes arcade-type LED screen facility that is as long as 214M with the width of 13.3m and the height of 20m. It is the most popular tourist attraction in Daejeon City that provides various programs using the main screen and media hub.
